Loomis, Tracy and Hills family papers, 1835-1916

A collection of receipts, many from grain stores; deeds; promissory notes; and other financial papers. All are from the Colchester and East Hampton, Connecticut area. Most of the receipts are made out to George Loomis, others were made out to Nehemiah Tracy. The deeds were for property owned by David and Benjamin Hills of Chatham. Included is a 1835 insurance policy, issued by The Hartford Insurance Company for the home of Joseph Harvey in Colchester; a Painters Timebook, used mostly as a regular notebook; and a pig pedigree registration form.
